After having had finished grammar school I studied German Language and Literature, History and Political Science at the Technical University of Dresden for 4 years. After I had passed my final exams I began a 2-year-long editorial department traineeship in Hamburg at Gruner & Jahr. Here I learned journalistic subtleties from scratch. Investigating, editing and publishing articles online were my first focal points. Establishing contacts with renowned journals and organizing press and exhibition events were also part of my training. During that time I could immerse myself more in my hobby – photography – and was able to use my skills at various travel assignments. During the following three years I worked as a marketing assistant in the region. In 2004 my adorable daughter Nele was born. This special duty made me wish to be more flexible and independent in my job. For this reason kodema was founded in 2006.
